THE STRUCTURE
Three main concepts form the foundation of each of the 16 sessions:
the sound topic, established by conversations guided by a set of cards with questions, premises, and methods; the sound source, which refers to 16 distinct sound sources used to create 16 types of instruments for the collaborative sound installation; the sound bath, a live performance that builds a musical common ground between participants.
It's the space where musicians, music producers, composers, instrumentalists, sound designers, sound synthesists, acousticians, and music technologists meet with record collectors, musical instrument collectors, audiophiles, music lovers, and music journalists.
Everyone is using their own curiosity as glue to join these worlds together.
THE MEETING POINT
THE SOUND TOPICS
The sound topics are the main activity in these sessions, guided by cards with methods and questions that encourage and invite conversations and new perspectives related to the topic.
THE SOUND SOURCES
The sound sources opens up the collaboration between Lovesure and sessions attendees. These are 16 sound sources recorded, composed, produced and edited for 16 different types of instruments.
THE SOUND BATHS
The sound bath is the music created for each session.
